sauce website redesign

I want to re-design the collective website, maybe making a mish-mash of retro western/victorian fonts and contemporary illustration. I was thinking of having a few illustrations/photos/graphics from everyone adding to the design on the home page - along the lines of little big planet style sticker crazyness/jon burgerman insanity. In terms of type I was thinking of hand drawn letterforms, taking inspiration from the likes of jessica hirsche. It sounds really convoluted but I hope if everyone mucks in we can start putting some ideas and layouts together. It'd be cool if we all made a few things specifically for the website, making it a little bit more unique and interesting.

We are going to have a stall at the winchester art market tomorrow, and I wanted to have a go at designing a logo idea to stick about the place. I have wanted to do a bit of retro type design for a while, with loads of flourishes and retro fonts. I want to try going further down this dark, victorian cobbled street of design. Let's hope the weather holds out!

Check out my crusty loaf

I don't normally stray away from the arty/designy stuff I have been creating on my blog, but today I thought I'd show off my home made loaf. For the summer project, it is stated that we should try to come up with something completely new and set a trend. Well I haven't got very far with that yet, but I have been baking a bit! Maybe I could initiate some kind of bread related art? But even that has been done before! We have also been working on some textiles for the upcoming art market on sunday, and bought a new (very old) sewing machine. I'll upload some pics when the weather isn't awful and the light improves.
