here is my illustration of a black hole. This unlucky person has happened to have passed the event horizon (point of no return, as shown by the heavy black line on the right) and would have to be travelling at faster than the speed of light just to remain stationary at this time. They are uttering the word 'help', but because they are in the vacuum of space this desperate cry would not be audible.
